Moose sighting

A moose and baby were sighted in Hartland by Butch on his way home from work this week..guess they're still out there. We have some nice pictures of the bear that was at our house on July 4th.

We had a great picnic at the Forest last Sat and everyone got to meet Aidan. To those of you who were not there, we missed you and hopefully you'll get to meet him over the holidays. We will certainly post pictures before then. I finally got a smile out of him on Sun a.m. so that made my day.

We're now starting to get ready for our big week at the end of Aug in Old Orchard beach with Sharon & Marty and the boys..that's our next excitement. Does anyone want to have our usual Labor Day evening picnic on Sun of Labor Day weekend..actually I guess we should check with Glenn, how about it Glenn, which day works better for you?

Is NO news GOOD news?

Ok, since it is so quiet, here it is, the weekly news from Colebrook. This week we had some hooligans deface the Colebrook school with spraypainted words, they were not nice, still don't have anyone "in custody".
Word is our minister resigned which is very disheartening to (most ) all - was political as usual - we hope to change her mind , she really is a great asset to our community, and even though I am Cathlic (now) I love going to see her at church.

This week Pia had 3 days of playdates including one with Sharon's little Garrett. Pia has been busy socializing and honing her communication skills (MINE! NO!). Anyhoo, she is a good little girl, just very busy.

Last night I hosted a Mary Kay new business debut for our own Jayme Peacock who is now on my Mary Kay team, she is very excited and will do great!

Kinda quiet around here

i've been 100 mi. out on the Georges Banks fishin only to have a boat come up from nowhere and drop anchor. My point, boats attract boats. maybe my post will attract other posts and this forum will pick up speed . we'll see.

glenn left for his motorcycle trip today. going up through nova scotia, labrador, west coast of new foundland and load the bikes into shipping containers for a boat ride down the northwest passage. more to come on this story.
